Going private

I'm going private with this blog. There are a few people on Facebook that I do not want on here. I can't block them from Facebook (yet), but I can block them here. It's a big pain adding the whole logging in thing but it's best for now me thinks.

UPDATE: I'm still contemplating making the blog private. Oh and I have the mobile ap for blogger now! Olivia spilled an entire cup of milk on our laptop so it has it's good days and its bad days (usually you can't get past the welcome screen and you can't type on the keyboard). She owes us a new laptop when she gets a job!

Secret love for his sister? lol

Erik on a daily basis states that he can't stand Olivia on days that end with "y" - lol.  My sweet little boy gets so wound up and upset with his sister.  And oh my gosh does he get fresh!  Why?  Because she wants to do everything he does.  Seriously.  She will watch the way he reacts to food she hasn't seen before and even if she likes it, she will try to mimic his reactions.  She wants to take a bath with him every day.  The only thing they don't do together is watch TV.  Olivia only sits still for the Wiggles and Signing Time and Erik loves cartoons (if there are no humans, she will NOT watch it).  Photo shoots have her usually looking at him to see how he is smiling.  If he touches her cars or trucks, she flips out (I think because he does that to HER).  He is rough with her, but she doesn't mind it at all (we watched the kids in her orphanage rough house).  He tells her what to do ALL the time (and she does it, well usually).  She never hugs him (or us) - but I think their bond is stronger than the bond between Olivia and us two adults.  Erik drew the picture below yesterday.  On a rough day with her no less.  He won't admit it to anyone, but I think he secretly is starting to like the little "annoying" bundle of energy.  :)

Playing in the Dirt Box

Why I ever agreed to using top soil in their sand box instead of play sand, I will never know.  lol.  ::Sigh::

I guess the ONLY good thing about top soil is that it's more builder friendly.  They can make hills and such and the top soil stays put, whereas sand wouldn't.
EVERY time she plays in the Dirt Box she needs a bath.  Today they played in the sprinkler - water is water and they both got cleaned up.  :)

I'm hoping that Erik will want to write these blog posts at some point.  I think it would be really cute!  He is also a great photographer.  So keep your fingers crossed that he will take this over!  :)

Welcome to our blog

I thought a blog just for the kids would be great.  The other blog was pretty much to help document Olivia's adoption and progress once home, but I thought it would be even better to have a blog for BOTH kids.  :)  We hope you will follow along.
